89 Luxe Hoodie for AW

It seems that Dolce & Gabbana are fast becoming one of my favorite brands at this point in time. Why? Well I think it’s a combination of the range of their current season lines and the way each of their pieces actually fits. Last Christmas I bought myself a very nice grey hoodie from them in the January sales, it’s one of the nicest I’d ever bought, so when I saw a new black and red one on Farfetch, I had to take a closer look.

It’s quite an unusual style of hoodie with the sleeves and back designed in a crisscross pattern made from a padded material (all 100% cotton), while the front is quite a contrast being a much thinner material with a James Dean motif nicely blended into the red colour. This is a very high quality hoodie and has a much more luxe feel to it than my older one, there are some really nice details on the tassels which are made from metal with the D&G logo etched on (see some of the photos below). I bought an Italian 48 which is meant to be a medium but the fit is quite tight, it’s just OK for me but when I try and take it off it’s a little difficult – those looking for a more baggy fit would need to get the size up from this. Overall very happy with this D&G hoodie and will be on the lookout for more of theirs in the future!
