93 Very high quality hi-tops with great detail

For those of you who are starting to know me and the styles of shoes I like you’ll know I love a good hi-top. So after my trip to LA (which was amazing) to beat the post holiday blues I’d have a look around for a new pair when I came across the Giuseppe Zanotti “London Columbria” hi-tops. Now Giuseppe Zanotti is one of those brands which are usually garish in design with lots of metallic accessories attached to the shoe, however I’m noticing that in 2014 there are certainly some which are more reserved but still contain that element of something special.

I ordered them from Farfetch in a European 43 which fit me perfectly (i’m a 9-9.5 UK size), they are not too heavy unlike the Givenchy hi-tops I ordered a while ago. When delivered the box was really something special, very well presented with protectors on both boots to avoid scuffing in transit, also came with a nice carry bag. There’s some great detail all around them, from the shiny metal label on the tongue to metallic zips placed on the sides and back of the shoe and the general feel of the leather is very high quality – these are a great purchase and nearly half the price of the Buscemi hi-tops.
