Giuseppe Zanotti Red Sneakers Review

Buying a pair of red sneakers/trainers/shoes is a bit of a gamble for most people, there’s no denying it. The thought of wearing bright colours on your feet can be a daunting, people will stare at them and it can be a challenge finding an outfit that matches. I’ve seen people wearing red trainers more in general and for the most part they look awful, reason why? They look cheap. So with that in mind I was keen to find a pair that were not you usual design and did not look cheap – so I looked at Giuseppe Zanotti.

It’s been roughly a year since I bought my last pair of Giuseppe Zanotti hi-tops, the old pair have lasted very well and I still wear them quite regularly to this day. These shoes caught my attention quickly (obviously); bold colour, classic style zips down each side, iconic Zanotti tongue plaque, zig-zag sole and the contrasting material textures throughout. They looked great on the website and didn’t disappoint in person, these are a quality pair of hi-top trainers. I purchase them in a size 42 even though I usually take a 43 (UK size 9) and to be honest they are a little bit tight around the sides, I’m hoping that after wearing them in they’ll feel more comfortable.

They look great with black, grey and light blue jeans and actually complement any outfit which includes red – I would definitely recommend these if you’re looking to stand out from the crowd.
