76 Super lightweight short sleeve shirt

Wow, the temperatures in London have been so hot these last few weeks – hotter than most holiday destinations by the sound of it too! Working in London presents certain challenges others might not have to deal with; like travelling on the tube and deciding what to wear knowing it’s going to be sweltering hot underground.

For us Londoners it’s essential wear during the summer, so I’m always on the look out for new options to add to my wardrobe. I was asked by Guide London to review one of their short sleeve shirts which I was more than happy to do. It arrived at home and was wrapped in tissue paper which I always like because it protects the material, upon opening the shirt the first thing I noticed was how thin the material was. The shirt is very lightweight which is great for hot temperatures and there’s some nice detailing around the collar and sleeve with the contrast in colour which gives it a nice unique look. I am a big medium and I ordered a medium without really considering it was a “slim fit” which meant it felt a little tight around the sides, if I was to buy another I would probably try a large – but even so, it’s still very wearable and think it looks quite nice. Take a look at my photos below and I’d love to hear what you think.
