90 Beautiful alternative to white trainers

Over a year ago one of the first reviews on Kingsdown Roots was for a pair of black Lanvin hi-tops and they are, still to this day, one of my most comfortable and worn pairs of shoes I own. With that in mind, when I decided to look for a new pair of trainers the first place to looked was at Lanvin, within minutes of searching I found these beautiful looking Ivory White Hi-tops on the website Oki-Ni.

The arrived in the iconic light blue box wrapped in tissue paper and came with 2 shoe travel bags/protectors. These shoes have plenty of great detail around them; the colour is the first thing which really stands out, it’s not white it’s Ivory White (which is slightly grey), around the sides and back there is some lovely stitching patterns which keep the leather together. The laces and rims around the bottom are white and add a nice contrast to the main shoe. I ordered a Euro 43 which is slightly too big for me but as they were the last ones in stock I decided to keep them, in fact the last pair I bought were also a size 43 but with an inner sole they are perfect.

The shoe feels very comfortable to wear and with the design it gives great support around the ankle – these really are a standout piece of any outfit and would recommend them to anyone thinking of buying something a bit different from a standard white trainer.
