I’m a big fan of trainers however running shoes or gym footwear is not normally something I like to spend a lot of time or money on. I’ve had a pair of puma track running shoes for over 8 years and although they are technically still fine to wear I just had to give them an update. As I don’t really care what I look like in the gym (as its a place of pain) I went to Sports Direct to pickup something under £50 and have a browse.

Unfortunately my first 2 choices were not available in my size but my 3rd choice, which had 30% off was; so I went for a pair of Nike black and white runners. They are a very comfortable fit (not far off a Nike Air Max feeling) and incredibly light – I understand why they’re running shoes! Anyway, there’s really not much else to tell, they support my feet well, there’s a good grip on the sole and look “OK” and for the price of £36.99, so I can’t really complain too much.
