Topman Blogger Hitlist

I’m very excited to announce that this Christmas I’m part of the Topman Blogger Hitlist 2014 campaign. Over the years Topman has been a regular staple of my wardrobe and taking a look at their A/W 14 selection this year is no different.
I’ve selected 5 pieced from their website which I’d love to have this Christmas and for one of the items Topman has partnered with Kingsdown Roots to give one of my readers the chance to win my favourite piece (details at the bottom of the post).

1. Black Heavyweight Parka

This heavyweight parka looks an essential purchase for winter 2014. The style is very popular at the moment and features great detailing around the fur trimmed hood while looking informal. I’ve been sent this coat to look at in closer detail and I can safely say it’s a fantastic piece. The coat’s thick  so it will definitely keep you warm but what’s especially nice is that both the inner lining and fur trimmed hood are detachable, meaning this can be worn in spring summer too – unexpected bonus. This is also available to win, see at the bottom of this post for more details.

2. Black Leather Look Duffle Bag

This duffle bag looks perfect for those weekend trips away to see family and friends over the holiday period. The bag has a great shape and looks comfortable to carry with padded handles, all finished off nicely with great detailing in the stitches. There’s something about carry a duffle bag which just feels more stylish in comparison to a backpack or satchel.

3. Black Skinny Joggers

Perhaps less traditional for autumn and winter but these joggers would finish off any street/sports luxe look perfectly this Christmas. Wearing jogging bottoms actually use to be quite a common look when I was younger (between 12-15 years old) they’re comfortable and less constricting than jeans which is why they were so popular, certainly for boys anyway. In recent years they’ve been given a new lease of life with some especially sporty trends.

4. “Salute Cuff” Elephant Grey Leather Cuff Boots

These are a great looking pair of military style boots which are bound to keep your feet warm over the winter months while finishing off any outfit. What I particularly like about these boots is the soft ankle support around the top and the stitching around the laces.

5. Villain Quilting Bomber Jacket

A contemporary styled quilted bomber jacket that features premium quality fabrics. Lots of great zig zag detail in the stitching pattern which makes this an unusual take on a classic. This is another one of those older trends which has been given a new lease of life but now features more intricate detail in the design and details.
