79 Bright and bold - looks great

I’m starting to see some great spring summer Givenchy pieces being put online at the moment (some of the best ranges can be found on Farfetch and Luisaviaroma)  and having being so pleased with my last checked shirt I decided to go for one of the military /camouflage styles.  There are quite a few similar styles by Givenchy all with a slight blue and light brown camouflage but the one that caught my eye was the one with bright orange, white and black details on the elbows of each sleeve.

I bought the shirt in size 40 which is a good fit for a medium build man, the quality is very high – as you would expect, with a cover up strip over the front buttons. It’s comfortable to wear but feels slightly odd on the elbows section which is not made with the same material as the rest of the shirt, instead it’s a thin plastic – also worth noting is that the elbow section also creases very easily.

What I specifically liked about the shirt is that with the details on the arms it looks great with a t-shirt over the top – something that I saw a lot of when the SS 2014 collection was shown. I’ve posted a few photos of me trying a few other Givenchy t-shirts over the top – let me know what you think!
