Red Givenchy Check Shirt

Shopping the sales in January is usually dangerous for me and this year is no exception! I’ve bought a number of things already (some from my winter wishlist woo!) in particular I have had my eye on a really nice layered check shirt. Layered textures and patterns were featured in AW 2013 and seem to be popular in SS 2014. I bought it through Farfetch from an Italian Boutique called Eraldo (can see a photo and their stock here) – it came beautifully wrapped as you can see below:

As you can see in the last photo the layers look great contrasted together, it’s worth noting that the material on the darker sections is thicker than the lighter part. It’s of course  made 100% cotton and is hand wash only (nearly all my clothes are now hand wash..sigh) – the collar has a nice feel to it too, quite thick and hard which means it has less chance of loosing its shape quickly.
