So for those that don’t know LC:M stands for London Collections: Men (link here) – it’s basically an event that showcases the best of British designers for the upcoming seasons. Here’s an extract from their website:

“Season four of London Collections: Men promises to be the best one yet, as it has such a vast array of great shows, presentations, events, dinners and parties. LC: M has already become a staple of the menswear calendar, and is a fabulous way to kick off the season. We have all been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm for the project, and the scale and ambition of all the many designers who are now showing here is incredibly infectious. To those of you who have yet to come to LC: M, all I can say is: come on in, the water’s lovely!” – Dylan Jones, Editor GQ & Chair of the Menswear Committee

Topman have kicked things off with their Autumn Winter 2014 collection and it seems to be generating quite a lot of buzz online. Most notably for the segment of the show when they simulated rain on the runway and had the models walk through it (looks very cool), watch the whole show below – the rain starts just after 8 minutes.

Here’s a few more images from their instagram account:

Personally now i’m in my 30’s I don’t think I can get away with wearing Topman clothes any more. Most of the clothes look too young for me, either in fit or design – saying that their AW 2014 coats and jackets do look quite nice and I will be taking a browse when they hit the high street.
