Marks & Spencer Suit Styling Event

I was invited to the wonderful Hospital Club in London last Friday as part of a campaign run by Marks & Spencer. I was joined by 4 other bloggers, each of which were given a secret envelope with a wedding theme inside, the goal, to create an outfit to match. The outfit had to be someone special at the wedding i.e. the best man or groom and we each had access to a range of suits, jackets, shirts, shoes and accessories.

The above look was for my first envelope which was a “wild card” – I decided to go for a simple look with bold details and accessories. A Navy three piece suit, light blue shirt with black and white details along the buttons, bright pink tie with matching light blue pocket chief.

The second look was focused around an “Enchanted Forrest” – I decided to go for earthy tones with a woolen suit, the jacket and trousers had very fine stripes which I thought looked really nice. Matched with a white shirt, purple floral patterned tie and suede blue/purple shoes.

The event had an actual wedding cake which was a fantastic touch although to be honest I mainly had just the prosecco!

The event was really interesting and to be honest I was quite surprised by the range and quality of the suits M&S had to offer. Things certainly look bright for the brand and I’ll certainly be considering them next time I need to buy one.
