There’s little information on the web about Golden Goose Deluxe Brand (or GGDB) but from what I can find out is that it was created by Francesca and Alessandro Gallo in 2000 off the back of their passion for fashion and art. Their style is very contemporary and they are particularly popular for their range of hi-tops and sneakers/trainers.
They have a very recognisable look and feel to them which I really like, there’s a star on the side of the shoe (in a varied selection of colours and fabrics), a zip on the other side and the main colours are quite unusual. Here’s a selection of their hi-tops:

Also a selection of their trainers:

Over the last 6 months I’ve bought a few pairs of their hi-tops and I love them! They’re extremely comfortable to wear and have a very high quality feel to them; the first purchase was a blue pair with a shiny metallic gold star, has two types of texture to the boot.

The second was a more casual pair with black, white and grey shading with a bright red embossed line going around the side of them. I’m a size 9 in the UK and the Italian 43 size fits perfectly.

The brand is quite popular with celebrities too as they provide an alternative look from the converse styles out there, here’s a few examples I’ve found with Jude Law and Hillary Duff:
