Filling Pieces Perforated Sneakers

Over the last few months I’ve started to hear more and more about the brand Filling Pieces. The brand Filling Pieces is an Amsterdam-based business established in 2009 by someone called Guillaume Philibert.

I first started to see them on instagram on a few favourites I follow but this year I’ve seen them heavily advertised on all the main retailers. It’s likely because their new season footwear has such a strong unique look; featuring sharp rigid angles and a cool perforated pattern on the front. What really caught my attention was the shape of the tongue, when you look at the shoe sideways on it just has a very good shape to the shoe.

I bought a size 43 and it fits OK (I’m a size 9), if I had the chance to change I would probably go for a 42.5 if they did that size. They are reasonably comfortable, my only gripe is that the laces didn’t come equal both sides (I don’t want to have to relace a new pair of trainers). They cost about £180 so not too expensive and definitely offer something different for those that like their sneakers!

You can buy them here from Farfetch
