I know it may sound odd to be talking about Autumn and Winter while it still feels very much like summer in the UK – in fact I’m writing this sitting on my balcony in shorts soaking up 30 degree sunshine. That being said you can already start seeing new season clothing hitting the online stores. I for one prefer Autumn over Summer looks, don’t get me wrong I love a t-shirt and have reviewed many of them on Kingsdown Roots but there are so many more options which are comfortable in the Autumn months plus you get to work with layers!.
So what’s going to be big this Autumn and what’s on my wishlist?
- Givenchy – I’ll start with one of my long time favorite brands. The Givenchy Autumn Winter 17 collection (images taken from SSENSE) looks fantastic, so many cool and sophisticated pieces on offer.
2. Adidas – One of my favourite sneaker brands is releasing some absolute keepers this AW, the 3 release of the Pharrell Williams collaboration this year for the Tennis Hu’s single colours looks great!
3. Off White – a season staple for anyone who appreciates good street style-wear. There’s lots of excellent collaborations (most notably with Nike’s “The Ten“) coming to the shelves and enough to cover head to toe.

4. Marcelo Burlon – one of those striking and bold brands which challenges the norm. There’s some really interesting pieces coming out or already live to stock up on for the coming season.
